Formed in 1998 by Newcastle based artists Steven Legget and Bob Burroughs, Artwhore's sound is the
product of a wide range of influences, from avant-garde experimentalism to house and techno with detours through seventies funk, disco and electro.
This diverse range has earned them djing and live slots alongside respected names from the electronic

single, "Frank", was released on the Barcelona based Adapted Vinyl label and their recent gigs have
included sets at techno club night Anorak in Leeds and Newcastle's Version festival of electronic music. Watch out for forthcoming release from 'Artwhore' and their solo projects on local label 'Testing Out'.

For this performance Artwhore will be remixing and manipulationg the soundtrack of George Romero's classic "Dawn of the Dead". Using the soundtrack by Goblin as the only sound source. Visual accomplyment will by Testing Out Records Paul Smyth again using dawn of the dead as his source material.
