Laptop Acid Xperience
Roger Armstrong (aka Laptop Acid Xperience) has been making electronic music in his spare time for the last twelve years and short films for the last five but it is only recently with the rapid advance in new audio and video technology that he has finally been able to get the sounds and images out of his head and into the world.  Heavily influenced by his work in design, video production and Asian cinema Roger is interested in the increasingly strained links between technology and the organic.

This interest is reflected in C-Tronik, an audio visual collaboration between Roger and the ultra reclusive Curtis E(mily) Butterfield who provides an organic, luddite (and dark) influence on the visual style of the project, manifesting itself as naturalistic video clips sent via an untraceable email account.

Laptop Acid Xperience (LAX) is a solo project producing minimal acid house exploiting ten years of collected samples and the latest audio software.

Accompanying this audio excursion are visuals focusing on the more mundane technological aspect of our lives mixed against a surreal psychedelic backdrop.
